A digital retailer offering unique products to customers around the country, EVINE Live’s television network brings shopping into millions of homes while their mobile, online and social media channels further engage their audience.
EVINE had recently finished a complete rebranding but was now, only months later, facing another rebranding effort. Their internal software development resources didn’t have the bandwidth to tackle their mobile app, which needed to be reworked to match the new brand. EVINE’s Vice President of Technology needed a partner they could trust to meet their aggressive deadline with minimal oversight and under a strict NDA.
ILM provided three consultants who worked on-site at EVINE’s headquarters. Working mostly autonomously, we reviewed the documentation from the previous iteration before jumping in to meet EVINE’s looming deadline. We designed a user interface to integrate social interactions with live and pre-recorded video broadcasts within EVINE’s mobile app while scrubbing out references to the former brand.
Despite the tight timeline and need to work independently with minimal oversight, we were able to deliver their app not simply on time, but early and under budget. Due to the timeliness of our work, ELIVE was able to keep the pace for their rebranding efforts, which included a public announcement and marketing campaign.
